Custom carpentry and millwork for experiential builds
Custom millwork solutions are crafted in our own shop, delivering cabinetry, casework, and finish millwork for activations, exhibits, and retail environments that require precise load-ins, clean presentation, and polished results under lighting. Send us a drawing or an entire build, and our team will bring your vision to life for exhibits and retail.
Carpentry and millwork work together to create branded environments, combining structural framing with finished woodwork that transforms a booth into a complete experience. We handle both in-house, from the framework behind a wall to the veneer-matched counters and custom fixtures visitors see up front. Unlike a traditional cabinet shop, we build casework, fixtures, and experiential millwork designed for demanding environments. Our work installs quickly under load-in pressure, withstands repeated use, and maintains a refined finish that performs well on camera and in person.
What we build, and what for
What our shop can handle
When a project exceeds standard panel sizes, we fabricate oversized casework in sections, assemble it on-site, and conceal the joints so walls, counters, and features appear as one continuous piece. Share the final dimensions and load-in schedule, and we’ll confirm the right approach before production begins.
What we build in
Plywood and MDF materials form the foundation of casework, paneling, and structural builds, cut, assembled, and finished in-house for precise results.
What to send us.
Build from drawings and files created at the actual size of the finished piece. Incorrect scale or incomplete files are common reasons projects slow down before production begins.
Millwork in real builds
Sculpted builds create the moments guests remember most. These projects show how custom props, scenic fabrication, and large-scale sculptures transform brand experiences into camera-ready environments.

From drawing to installed
Files and fabrication start with your drawings, 3D models, or sketches. We work from the information you have and turn it into production-ready pieces.
Why to choose Monum Fab
Millwork integration across trades ensures every piece is designed, built, finished, and installed with the full project workflow in mind. Our carpentry team works alongside CNC, metal, scenic, print, and installation crews under one roof, reducing handoffs and improving coordination from fabrication to load-in.
Experiential agency
What happens next to the cut.
Cut parts rarely travel alone. These are the shops they move through next, all in the same building.
Carpentry & millwork questions
Vector files, 3D models, CAD drawings, PDFs, SketchUp, and even a photo or an AI render. If it shows us the shape and the intent, we can start — and our design team turns it into buildable shop drawings.
Yes. We work in solid hardwoods, matched veneers, laminate, and paint-grade panel, and color-match finishes in our own spray booth so the piece hits the exact brand color on camera.
Yes. Send the drawing or the piece and we'll build just the cabinetry, counter, fixture, or millwork run. We do plenty of standalone work that ships to another crew for install.
Plywood and MDF, solid hardwood and timber, veneer and laminate, paint-grade and melamine panel, and solid surface for tops. Working in something unusual? Send the spec and we'll confirm what runs.
It depends on scope and finish, but tell us the real load-in date and we'll give you an honest answer before you commit, not a date we think you want to hear.
Carpentry frames and builds the structure. Millwork is the finished, custom woodwork on top of it. paneling, counters, trim, feature pieces. Casework is the boxes: cabinets and storage units. We do all three, in-house, so it all fits together.
Need more than cutting?
Every capability lives in the same building. Explore the rest, or hand us the whole project.

Have a build coming up?
Send us your drawings and we'll come back with a real timeline and price. No drawings yet? Send a sketch or an AI render and we'll draw it up.
